Child Support

Child support is, in theory, easy to determine: the State of California uses a computer program called "Dissomaster" to base child support on the incomes of both parents, the custodial time share, and other inputs such as insurance costs, tax deductions, etc. However, when the income of one or both parties is uncertain, it may be necessary to investigate that income and to employ a forensic accountant to ascertain income available for support.
